Regional Residential Builder of the Year

Best Custom Home ($1M to $2M)
2024 Master Builders Victoria Regional Building Awards – Eastern Region

This prestigious award was given for the exceptional quality and design of our

The Cook House project. This family haven stands as a model of off-grid living, seamlessly blending into its rural landscape. The architecturally designed home incorporates passive heating and cooling through its vaulted ceilings and expansive windows, while its material palette of recycled bricks, timber, and metal carbon cladding echoes the surrounding bushland.

Beyond its visual appeal, the home is a showcase of functional and accessible design. It features a smart kitchen layout with integrated steps for a child, a separate parents' wing, and an off-grid power system with 60 solar panels and battery storage. The win is a demonstration of our ability to deliver large, complex residential projects that are as functional as they are inspiring.

Artichoke Magazine Publication

The Design Institute of Australia’s Official Magazine - Issue 84

Our commitment to innovative and ambitious design was recognised in the pages of

Artichoke Magazine, the official publication of The Design Institute of Australia. The publication featured our Marcellin College Placidus Centre project, which transformed a dark, dated 1970s school wing into a light-filled and nurturing wellbeing hub for students.

The article highlighted the project's fluid, curvilinear geometry and sculptural forms, which required a high level of technical craftsmanship. It also noted the success of the high-stakes, overnight relocation of the school's main server room, which was executed with minimal downtime.

The recognition in such a prominent architectural magazine validates our team’s deep problem-solving skills and technical expertise in bringing a visionary design to life.

2026 Regional Eastern Building Awards Winner

Best Custom Home $2-4m
Master Builders Victoria

This award recognises the exceptional quality and craft of the San Remo House.

Perched on a steep rocky hillside overlooking Phillip Island, this substantial three-storey holiday home required extensive excavation and careful resolution of strict council height restrictions. The design embeds the home into the slope while preserving panoramic coastal views from the main living and master bedroom levels high above.

Beyond its striking setting, the home is a showcase of structural clarity and material honesty. A suspended concrete slab creates polished concrete flooring above, and a generous column-free garage below, while core-filled blockwork provides strength and solidity. Expansive glazing and a suspended steel and timber staircase complete a bold, enduring coastal home for family gatherings.

Special Commendation Excellence in
Construction of Commercial Buildings Under $5m
Master Builders Victoria

This special commendation recognises fine craftsmanship at St Patricks Parish.

The St Patricks Parish project. This resourceful renovation transformed a dark, run-down parish hall in Pakenham into an architecturally and spiritually significant space. Working within the original structure and budget limits, the team retained the building's structural bones while rebuilding brickwork and reshaping the interior around light, warmth and worship.

Beyond the renewed structure, the project is defined by light, volume and bespoke craftsmanship. Low ceilings were removed to create a soaring curved ceiling washed with natural light from a full-length skylight, while restored brickwork, natural timbers, stained glass and bluestone sanctuary furniture give the space warmth, permanence and a distinctive spiritual character throughout.
